Booking FAQ's

Everything people usually want to know before they commit. If your question isn't here, send it over — no question's too small.

How do I know you're the right fit?

If you want a night shaped around your actual crowd — not a set that could belong to anyone — we're going to get along. I build it live, around the people in the room. If you're after safe and predictable, I'm probably not your DJ, and that's okay.

What do you actually do on the night?

Far more than choosing songs. I'm reading the room as it moves, building the energy, holding it steady through the speeches so they land properly, and keeping everything in step with your run sheet. The music, the timing, the flow — all mine to worry about. You can enjoy your own party.

What happens after I enquire?

You'll hear from me within 24 hours with your date's availability and a clear price.

How do I lock in my date?

A 50% deposit (or the lot, if you'd rather have it done) makes it yours. From that moment I turn away everything else for that date. The balance is due five days before the event date.

What if my date's already gone?

I'll tell you straight away rather than leaving you wondering. And where I can, I'll point you toward someone genuinely good. I'd much rather you had a brilliant night than a polite non-answer from me.

Can we change things later?

Of course. Guest numbers move, timings shift, someone decides they want a sax at the last minute — all normal. We'll lock the final details in your planning call before the day.

What's actually included?

Setup and pack-down, sound and lighting scaled properly to your venue, a planning call, your must-plays played and your do-not-plays respected, and full insurance. The price you're quoted is the price you pay. Nothing appears at the bottom of an invoice later.
