The price you're quoted is the price you pay. These are the few things worth knowing before you confirm. Last updated 26 October 2026.
A 50% deposit, or full payment, confirms your date. Dates are first come, first served and can't be held without a deposit. Once your deposit is in, Ivy turns away everything else for that date. The balance is due 5 days before the event.
Deposits are non-refundable, because they cover planning already underway and the dates Ivy has declined. If your plans change, your deposit moves to any event with Ivy within the next 12 months, subject to availability. If Ivy ever can't play, she finds you a DJ she trusts or refunds you in full within 14 days.
Every package includes setup and pack-down (never counted in your performance hours), sound and lighting sized to your venue, a planning call, your must-plays and do-not-plays, and public liability insurance with a certificate sent to your venue on request. Add-ons such as Ivy as your MC, a wireless microphone, live musicians, a dance floor, a stage riser or a branded booth are quoted up front and shown on your invoice.
If Ivy is free and the venue allows it, extra time is $166 an hour in 30-minute blocks, agreed on the night and invoiced afterwards.
Prices include travel within 50 km of the Perth CBD. Further out, travel is quoted up front, with parking, tolls and ferry fares added. South West weddings are one all-in price with travel and accommodation included. If a venue is more than two hours' drive and the night finishes after 11pm, accommodation is included in the quote.
Ivy needs a dry, level space of about 3 × 2 m for the booth, a standard 240V power point within 10 m, and shelter if the event is outdoors. Haze and atmospheric effects are subject to the venue's rules and smoke detectors; Ivy checks with your venue before the night. Load-in, sound limits and finish times are sorted directly with the venue.
Wedding and private party prices include GST; corporate prices are shown plus GST. One tax invoice is issued for the full fee (ABN 51 577 179 399), payable by bank transfer or card. Purchase orders and supplier forms are welcome.
Ivy may take short clips and photos of her setup and the dance floor for her website and social media. If you'd rather she didn't, just say so when you book.
