When the Track Needs a Voice

Some moments ask for more than a record. A saxophone rising over a house groove. Percussion doubling the pulse until the floor feels it in their chest. A dancer pulling the room's eye to the centre.

I bring live players in beside the decks — not as a separate act, but woven into the set. The DJ set stays the spine; the live element lifts it exactly where the night wants lifting, then folds back before it outstays the moment. Arranged live, read in real time, the same as everything else I do.

It's the difference between a great set and a night people can't quite describe afterward — only that something in the room felt alive.

The collaborators

• Saxophone — soaring, soulful lines over house and disco (with saxophonists including Simone Monaco and Idan, @saxtracks)
• Percussion — live congas and hand percussion, thickening the groove
• Dancers — choreographed or free, drawing the floor to its feet

Best for weddings that want a signature moment, corporate events with a wow beat, and private parties that want something guests have never seen at a party before.
