Every one has its own pace, and my job is to feel where yours wants to go and take it there, not force it or run a script. Before you book
What kinds of celebrations do you do?
Birthdays, milestones, engagements, launches, house parties, and full-scale private events. The approach shifts to the setting, the people and the feeling you're after — no fixed format.
How far ahead should we book?
Most private events lock in 1 to 4 months out. For key dates and bigger setups, earlier is safer.
What does it cost?
Pricing reflects the scale and setup of your night, not a flat rate:

Do you take a deposit? Is it refundable?
Yes, 50% to confirm. The deposit secures your date and covers planning already underway, so it's non-refundable — but if you need to move the date, I'll always try to make it work.
The night
What makes this different from a typical DJ?
Nothing's pre-built or playlist-based. It's mixed live and read in real time, so the energy grows naturally instead of feeling forced or predictable. That's what keeps people on the floor all night, not just for a song or two.
Can we choose the music?
Yes, and it's built around you. Share your must-plays, your do-not-plays, and the direction you're after — I read the room and mix it live, so your songs land at the right moment, not all at once or out of place. A tight, meaningful list tells me your taste better than a giant one.
Do you take requests on the night?
Honestly, the best floors aren't taken by request — they're taken by surprise. When the booth turns into a queue, the room stops dancing and starts negotiating. Your do-not-plays are always respected. Everything else, trust me to read the moment — that's the part you're hiring me for.
What if people don't dance?
They usually do — when the night's built right. You don't force a floor, you build into it. Reading the room and pacing it properly is what brings people in; pushing energy too early is what empties it.
Setup
Do you bring everything?
Yes — sound and lighting provided and scaled to your space, whether it's a house party, a private venue or a bigger setting.
Will the setup take over the space?
A standard setup needs roughly a 2×2m area and access to a couple of power points. I'll confirm the exact requirements with your venue when we plan — it's part of the planning call.
How early do you arrive?
Early and unhurried — usually 1 to 2 hours before, depending on the setup. For a full production, I'll often be there earlier in the day. Everything's set up and soundchecked well before guests arrive, so nothing's rushed and nothing's visible. Setup and pack-down are included — never counted in your performance hours.
Do you liaise with our venue / planner / other suppliers?
Yes, and gladly. I coordinate with venues, planners and AV teams directly so the run of show is seamless — one less thing on your plate.
Planning
How much do we need to plan?
As much or as little as you like. Some send a playlist, some just describe the night they want — both are handled the same way, calmly and without fuss.
Do you handle everything on the day?
Yes — setup, performance and pack-down, so you're not thinking about logistics during your own party.
